At a time when the release of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is in serious jeopardy in Karnataka, actor-politician Kamal Haasan has not discussed the issue during his meeting with the Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru earlier today.
“I didn’t bring up the issue, as I think it’s needless,” the ‘Vishwaroopam-2’ actor said. He revealed to the media that he the Cauvery issue was brought up. The ‘Sabaash Naidu’ actor noted that he came to HDK as a representative of the people (of his state) and that he felt encouraged by the response of the CM who seemed to have a magnanimous mind.
Kamal said that he is now confident after the meeting that the Karnataka government would abide by the Supreme court order. He also ruled out any future alliance between his party and the JDS.
