Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life Release Date Announced

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is reuniting with legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam after several decades. The film shaping up in their combination currently is titled Thug Life. The team is extremely happy to announce the film’s release date today, marking the occasion of Kamal Haasan’s birthday.

The team released a special teaser, which had the visuals from the first teaser, and new shots featuring Simbhu are also attached. Kamal Haasan is seen sporting different looks in the teaser. In the end, the team confirmed that the film will be released on June 5th, 2025.

Earlier, on June 3rd, a couple of years ago, Kamal’s Vikram was released in theatres and become a hit. The team is hoping that Thug Life will also recreate the magic of Kamal-Mani combination at the box office. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead in the film.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Aishwarya Lekshmi, Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Nasser, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and others. Produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth, the film has music from AR Rahman.
