Actor Kamal Haasan, who’s the president of the political Party Makkal needhi maiam had recently made an announcement that he will be contesting the upcoming elections and that the constituency details will be announced later.
Following this announcement there have been various speculations on the alliance plans of Makkal needhi maiam and the constituency from which Kamal Haasan might contest the elections.
In such a situation, Kamal Haasan has opened up on his relationship with MGR. He has tweeted “When Puratchi Thalaivar Mgr was in DMK he wasn’t DMK thilagam and when he was in ADMK he wasn’t ADMK thilagam. He was always Makkal thilagam. People who haven’t even seen MGR, remember, I grew up in his lap”.
