Kamal is raring to go and shoot his new movie 'Vikram' which has suffered delays mainly due to the coronavirus pandemic. The location has been set as Karaikudi and the team has been planning for some time to go there but the exact date depends on Suriya.

Yes, you read that right and maybe wondering how Suriya comes into the equation. Well, Suriya is camped in Karaikudi and has been shooting nonstop for his next movie 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sun Pictures.

Now some of the locations in Karaikudi that the 'Vikram' team have in mind are now in the hands of 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' which is most probably wrapping up the schedule there on August 20th. Hence Kamal and co will move to the traditionally rich city on the 21st of 22nd depending on Suriya and his crew according to reports.

'Vikram' has a music score by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and editing by Philomin Raj. The top-notch cast comprises of Kamal, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Kalidas Jayaram and Andrea.
