Kamal Haasan starts shooting for 'Indian 2'

It was on August 24 that 'Indian 2' resumed its shoot after a long gap. Nearly a month later, today, Kamal Haasan joined the unit.
A while ago, the 'Vikram' actor took to Twitter and posted pics of himself with director Shankar. He is thoroughly kicked about the film, which will hit the screens in 2023.
Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies has joined hands with Subashkaran's Lyca Productions to bankroll the big-ticket vigilante action drama. Portions involving Kajal Aggarwal and Bobby Simha will also be shoot. Yesterday, Kajal posted a video of herself mounting a horse. She is also training in martial arts. This is an indication that the actress, who birthed a baby boy in April, is all set to join the shoot of the film.
Ravi Varman has been roped in to carry out cinematography. Anirudh is composing the music. Rakul Preet Singh has been confirmed to be present. Sukanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, Samuthirakani and others are playing important roles. T Muthuraj takes care of the production design and A Sreekhar Prasad is doing editing.
