Kamal Haasan spends time with colleagues, family on birthday

Kamal Haasan on Monday turned 68. It was a day to remember for the legendary actor, who spent time with his family members as much as with his industry colleagues. The superstar visited his elder brother Charu Haasan and sought blessings from him and his sister-in-law Nandhini. Also present on the occasion were yesteryear actress Suhasini and her husband, filmmaker Mani Ratnam. Former actress Anu Haasan, another niece of Kamal, was also spotted at the family get-together.

The ‘Vikram’ actor threw a party for his colleagues from the film industry. Present on the occasion was yesteryear actress Radhika Sarathkumar, who tweeted out a pic from the party. She wrote, “Masterclass from Kamal.”

Actor Siddharth, who is doing ‘Indian 2’, cherished the moments with his childhood icon and acting guru. “My favourite actor since I was a baby. My guru from a distance my whole working life. It has taken me 20 years as an actor to finally earn the privilege of calling you my CO-ACTOR, my INDIAN forever! (sic),” he wrote.

Actress Bindu Madhavi of Bigg Boss Tamil fame described Kamal as a true gentleman.

Earlier, Kamal also celebrated the 100th day of his all-time blockbuster movie ‘Vikram’. Well-known Kollywood directors Mysskin, Linguswamy, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and several other celebrities were also present.
