What ?! Kamal Haasan teams up with ‘Viruman’ director Muthaiya?

Kamal Haasan who is juggling his time between active politics and films completed the shooting of his upcoming ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.  He is next expected to resume work on the long delayed ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar and there are also projects lined up with Pa. Ranjith, Mahesh Narayanan, Vetrimaaran and others.

Now the big breaking news that is doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Kamal has okayed a project with director Muthaiya who is known for his caste based rural entertainers.  Though it is hard to believe this the sources swear that the director known for wrapping up films in quick time narrated a script that impressed the Ulaganayagan.  We have to take this news with a pinch of salt as there is no official confirmation yet.

Muthaiya meanwhile has finished shooting his new movie ‘Viruman’ starring Karthi and Aditi Shankar which needless to add is a quickie and his signature rural subject.
