Kamal Haasan completes major behind the camera work for ‘Indian 2’ in advance

There were complaints a few years ago that ‘Indian 2’ was dogged by troubles and was stalled several times due to many reasons.  But gone are those days as Kamal and Shankar are going all guns blazing for the past year wrapping up one major schedule after another.  Currently the final leg of shooting is going on in Chennai and it will be the movie wrap in a few weeks time.

Meanwhile the hot news has come in that Kamal not wanting to waste any time has completed his dubbing for ‘Indian 2’ for the footage that is ready.  This means that only the portions that are going now needs to be dubbed by him and other stars have also started the process.  It is well known that Shankar has been shuttling between this biggie and Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ and both are racing to the finish line together. 

‘Indian 2’ is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies with Anirudh scoring the music, Ravi Varman handling the camera and T. Muthuraj the production design.  The film stars  Kamal Haasan, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Vivek, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Gulshan Grover among others.  The team is said to be planning for a grand release on Pongal 2024.
