‘Vikram’ has been doing a thunderous business in Tamil. In Telugu, too, it is a hit.
The news is that, on Tuesday, director Lokesh Kanagaraj was gifted a luxury Lexus car by producer Kamal. The actor-producer is extremely happy with the commercial success of ‘Vikram’. The action drama is expected to gross Rs 200 Cr in its lifetime run.
In a video clip today, the ‘Indian 2’ actor gave due credit to his director Lokesh Kanagaraj, saying that his love for cinema and him (Kamal) was evident in every frame. He thanked music composer Anirudh and his co-stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, and others. The ‘Vishwaroopam’ actor also reserved special praise for Suriya, saying that his “younger brother” swayed the audience in the last three minutes. He revealed that the top hero did the role only out of love and did not receive any remuneration. Kamal promised to show his love and gratitude to Suriya multifold in future.
Suriya will be returning as Rolex in ‘Vikram 3’.
