Now as a further development it is said that Manoj in the script written along with director Ram has a pivotal role that he is keen to have Kamal perform it. It is said that once the project gets finalized with a nod from Simbu and the producer the team plans to approach the Ulaganayagan.
Once again we would like to caution our readers that this project is at a very early stage and nothing is confirmed as of now and only if talks with all those concerned reach an amicable stage it is possible for it to become a reality. Stay tuned.
Since Kamal is a very close friend of Bharathiraja and the movie is also the sequel to his 'Sigappu Rojakkal' and it will help Manoj to establish himself as a director, sources say that the legendary actor is likely to give his nod.
Simbu is currently set to finish the pending portions of 'Maanaadu' and is also in talks for other projects with K.E. Gnanavelraja (Mufti remake), Mysskin and others. Kamal is also keen on completing the remaining portions of 'Indian 2' simultaneously with 'Bigg Boss 4' and also a new movie with Lokesh Kanagaraj before the TN Assembly Elections in May 2021.
