Kalamandir Foundation Marks 17 Years of Philanthropy with Grand Celebration in Hyderabad

The Kalamandir Foundation commemorated 17 years of impactful service with a grand annual celebration held this week in Hyderabad. The event brought together prominent figures from politics, cinema, business, and social service, highlighting the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities across India.
The celebration also coincided with the birthday of Shri Prasad Chalavadi, the visionary founder of the Foundation and driving force behind its philanthropic endeavors. Over the years, the Foundation has become a beacon of compassion, blending corporate success with a deep-rooted sense of social responsibility.
The evening saw heartfelt tributes from several well-known film personalities. Actor and comedian Ali lauded the Foundation’s commitment to service, remarking, “It’s not about the number of stores, it’s about the number of lives touched.” Renowned screenwriter BVS Ravi paid special tribute to the women supporting Kalamandir’s journey—both within the organization and Prasad’s family.
Actor Manchu Manoj praised the brand’s growth from a single store to over 70 outlets nationwide, attributing its success to Prasad’s relentless dedication.
