First hit of the year ‘Kalakalappu 2’ Chennai Box Office report

‘Kalakalappu 2’ released with wide anticipation and it’s not an exaggeration to say the film has well performed beyond the expectations giving ample profits to its makers including distributors and producers.

Sundar.C’s laugh riot released on February 9th and has till now raked in a whopping Rs.4,23,65,483 in Chennai city alone. And owing to the strikle implemented by the producers council, the last few days have been also good for the film at the box office.

As of last weekend, the film was screened at 13 tehatres with 108 shows in Chennai reaping in Rs.27,43,733. It is also noteworthy that the film recorded an audience presence of 80%.
