Actor George Maryan, who has acted in movies like Poi Solla Porom, Madarasapattinam, Kalakalappu had turned popular with his performance in the recently released Karthi starrer Kaithi directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor had played a constable character named Napoleon.

After the success of Kaithi, it was revealed that George Maryan will be acting in a small role in director Shankar's next movie Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan. Now it has been revealed that George Maryan is all set to act next with Superstar Rajnikanth as well.

The next movie of Superstar Rajnikanth, Thalaivar 168 directed by Siva began today with a poojai, and the event had Meena, Khushbu, music director Imman, Cinematographer Vetri present, and George Maryan was also among those present in the function, indicating that he is a part of Thalaivar 168.
