‘Kabali’ sequel: It’s Thanu, not Dhanush

Veteran Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu delivered one of the biggest blockbusters of his illustrious career this year with 'Kabali' which is also his first production venture with his long time friend Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role.

Now we learn that Thanu has today registered the title 'Kabali 2'. This clearly sends out the signal that the producer plans to make a sequel for this Malaysian don flick directed by Pa.Ranjith.

Another conclusion that we can arrive with this development is that director Ranjith's second film with Rajinikanth that will be produced by Dhanush will not be the sequel to 'Kabali' as speculated initially and it will be a fresh script.

Whether Thanu will unite with Superstar and Ranjith for 'Kabali 2' or he has any other plans is something we will have to wait for some more time.
