Members of film fraternity and the public were in for a shock when news hit yesterday that reputed production firm of veteran director K.Balachander came for an auction. It was even advertised by a bank in a famous English daily.
However the spokesperson of the firm has come out with a clarification pertaining to this matter. According to the spokesperson, it is true that the firm had bought loan from the said bank, but talks are on for settling the loan in a single installment itself. Thus the rumours surrounding the issue has been quashed.
It is worth mentioning here that the reputed production firm has created movies which starred leading actors such as Kamal, Rajini, Vijay, Vikram, Arvind Swami etc.
