Johnny Depp has finally responded to the revival of Lola Glaudini’s account of her experience with the actor on the set of “Blow” during a Jan. 30 episode of the podcast Powerful Truth Angels.

Near the beginning of the shoot, Glaudini spent several weeks working closely with Depp. She recalled a scene in which, in the early days of the picture, she was to laugh on cue during Depp’s monologue as directed by filmmaker Ted Demme. At the time, Glaudini said the incident left her feeling so “incredulous and cowed” because it was her first day on a movie set, and she had been a lifelong fan of Depp since he first worked as an actor. Depp tried to apologize later, yet she felt mortified and “finally found the voice” to brush it off under the pressure to get on with things professionally.
Further, Glaudini felt sidetracked by the fact that Demme never warned them in any way, nor did he apologize, so by the end of the shooting, she felt very alienated and isolated.
