Celebrities entering the Bigg Boss house to promote their upcoming movies is not new for viewers and a number of them will be happy to learn that the tradition continues in the fourth season of the TV reality show, hosted by Kamal Haasan.

One of Tamil cinema's leading actors, Jayam Ravi, is entering the Bigg Boss house to promote his upcoming social thriller film 'Bhoomi,' which is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. Bhoomi, which is directed by Lakshman, who previously worked with the actor in Romeo Juliet and Bogan, will mark the 25th film of Jayam Ravi's career. Speaking about the film's digital release, the actor had stated, "Bhoomi is a milestone in many ways in my career. Besides being my 25th project and one that's close to my heart for that reason, it also joins the list of movies released in the times of Covid. As much as I was looking forward to watching the movie with my dear fans in theatres, the universe had other plans by helping me pay tribute to them by bringing Bhoomi to their homes. I am excited along with Disney+ Hotstar to be a part of your Pongal 2021 celebrations right in the heart of your homes."

The social thriller, which will feature Jayam Ravi as a NASA scientist who takes a sudden interest in farming, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on the occasion of Pongal. Bhoomi also stars Nidhi Aggerwal, Ronit Roy, Sathish, Thambi Ramaiah, Dato Radha Ravi, among others, while D Imman has composed the soundtrack of the film. Bigg Boss 4 housemates are expected to be thrilled to welcome the new guest into their space.
