Actor Jayam Ravi has been giving hit films in a row. After the successful 'Bogan' the actor's next release will be 'Vanamagan' in which he has played a tribal. The film directed and produced by Vijay is all set to hit the screens on June 23, 2017 for the Ramzan festival weekend.

The censor certification process has been just completed and the film has acquired a clean U certificate from the board officials who watched the film. This makes the film eligible to apply for the 30% Entertainment tax exemption offered by the Tamil Nadu Government. The film's running time will be Two hours and 14 mins that is 134 minutes.

'Vanamagan' will mark the debut of Bollywood actress Sayeeshaa Saigal, the grand-niece of Dilip Kumar and Saira Bhanu. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Varun, Thambi Ramaiah and Vela Ramamurthy among others. Harris Jayaraj has provided the music score while Tirru has handled the camera.
