Official! Jayam Ravi to team up again with AR Rahman after ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ for this biggie

Jayam Ravi is one of the highly talented Tamil actors whose market has reached a new level after the Pan-Indian success of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’. He has three promising films – ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’, ‘Iraivan’ and ‘Siren’ in his lineup. Today, Jayam Ravi’s new film was officially announced at a big event.

Producer Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Films International revealed the upcoming film slate of his production house this morning at the Vels PO Listing Ceremony. Reportedly, he announced that Vels Films International will bankroll Jayam Ravi’s 32nd movie. To be made on a massive budget of around Rs 100 crores, it is said to be the costliest project in the actor’s career.

This biggie will have music scored by Isai Puyal AR Rahman. The makers have plans to release ‘JR32’ in 18 languages. The other details such as the director, cast and crew are currently kept under wraps. More details will be officially updated soon. Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2 is coming to cinemas on April 28.
