the Aquaman actor was driving on Old Topanga Road near Calabasas in California on Sunday when the collision happened. A video of the incident has also surfaced on the internet, which shows Momoa walking away from the site of the accident while the paramedics tend to the motorcyclist behind him.

California Highway Patrol said in a statement that the accident took place around 11am and identified the motorcyclist as 21-year-old Vitaliy Avagimyan. It further said that the biker jumped lanes while going around a curve and smashed into Momoa's car head-on.

"As a result of this collision, Avagimyan was ejected from his motorcycle, After the collision, Momoa exited his vehicle to assist Avagimyan and was able to flag down a passing motorist to call 911." The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance for treatment of "minor, non-life threatening injuries", the police further said.

The Aquaman actor has maintained to remain silent on the accident and hasn’t issued any official statement as of yet. In addition to this, the cause of the collision is still being investigated by the designated authorities.
