Is Janhvi Kapoor going to make her south debut in Tamil cinema? Boney Kapoor clarifies

Boney Kapoor is a famous film producer in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu industries. He is the husband of the late legendary actress Sri Devi and they have two daughters. Their elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, is a well-known Bollywood actress but she hasn’t made her South Indian debut yet. 

Recently, reports broke out that Janhvi will be making her south debut in Kollywood with director Lingusamy’s ‘Paiya 2’. The renowned director was said to start the sequel to his 2010 blockbuster Paiya with Arya and Jahnvi Kapoor as the lead actors. Now, Boney took to his social media page to clarify whether the speculations were true. 

Boney Kapoor clarified that Janhvi hasn’t signed any Tamil projects yet. He wrote, “Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors.” Meanwhile, his latest outing ‘Thunivu’ with Ajith Kumar and director H Vinoth is running successfully past 25 days in cinemas.
