Jana Sena’s first candidate is Balakrishna

Even as the polls are many months away, Jana Sena is working towards securing a victory in Andhra Pradesh.  Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that his party aims to come to power.

On Tuesday, the actor-turned-politician announced the name of its first-ever candidate. He is Pitani Balakrishna, who will contest from Mummidivaram in East Godavari district. Balakrishna was previously associated with the YSRCP, Jana Sena’s rival party.

Meanwhile, the party is also focusing on the early polls in Telangana.  The party’s recently formed Political Affairs Committee has said that the deliberations regarding the party’s strategy for the state were fruitful and congenial on Monday.
