Thalapathy Vijay’s final film before his full-time political entry, Jana Nayagan (#Thalapathy69), directed by H. Vinoth, is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026.

The film has already created huge waves with its first single “Thalapathy Katcheri,” which has crossed a whopping 58 million views on YouTube and continues to trend globally.

Following the blockbuster response to the first song, the second single is expected to be released on either December 5 or December 8, 2025. The grand audio launch event is scheduled to take place in Malaysia on December 27, 2025.

Now, the biggest update every Vijay fan has been waiting for is here! According to a senior film journalist, the much-awaited Jana Nayagan theatrical trailer will be unleashed on January 1, 2026 – just days after the audio launch and exactly one week before the film’s release.

With Vijay reportedly playing a powerful cop with strong political undertones, and a stellar cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, and Priyamani, the film is being mounted on a never-before-seen scale. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
