‘Jana Gana Mana’: Pooja Hegde to train in martial arts

We have earlier reported that Pooja Hegde will be shooting for Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Jana Gana Mana’ from the first week of June. The Puri Jagannadh directorial is one of the biggest pan-India flicks that is going to be made.

The news is that the ‘Beast’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ beauty is going to train in martial arts for the big-ticket 2023 release. The makers have drafted seasoned martial arts trainers from Thailand for the purpose. Pooja is kicked about working with the experts during the trianing phase.

In the next three days, the pan-India superstar actress will focus on the martial arts training schedule completely.

The training will be completed by the time Jana Gana Mana’s first schedule is kicked off in Mumbai. The Mumbai schedule will be wrapped up by June 8 or so.

It appears that the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ beauty, who has played mostly glamorous roles throughout her career so far, has taken up an action role for the first time ever. With Puri Jagannadh, you can trust her to balance both glamour and action.
