James Cameron is busy with the hectic pre-production works for his 'Avatar' sequels and in the meantime has collobarated with the rebel filmmaker Robert Rodriguez for 'Alita : Battle Angel' an ambitious project that has a CG created character interacting with live actors.

The film is based on the graphic novel series ‘Battle Angel Alita’  by Yukito Kishiro and  the story is set in the 26th century.  Alita is a female cyborg  who has lost her memory is found by a doctor and is used by him to wipe out the criminal community in the neighborhood.  Rosa Salazar plays the title role while Eiza González, Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Rodriguez, Christoph Waltz, Jackie Earle Haley, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, and Casper Van Dien are also in the cast.  Worldwide release is set for the 20th of July 2018. meanwhile enjoy the amazing trailer here.
