Sharwanand’s ‘Bhogi’ Shifts Gears: Massive Forest Schedule Begins in Rajahmundry

Charming Star Sharwanand is enjoying a strong run this year and is now setting his sights on a potential hat-trick with his upcoming pan-India film Bhogi. The ambitious period action drama marks his first collaboration with blockbuster filmmaker Sampath Nandi, raising expectations across the industry.

Produced on a grand scale by K. K. Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, Bhogi is being positioned as one of the most significant projects in Sharwanand’s career.

After generating solid buzz with its first-look reveal, the film has now entered a crucial and large-scale shooting phase in Rajahmundry. The ongoing schedule is set deep within the rugged terrains of the Rampachodavaram forests, where the team is filming a series of intense action sequences.

These sequences are being choreographed by renowned stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan, known for crafting raw and high-impact action. Sharwanand and the principal cast are actively participating in this demanding schedule, which is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the film’s narrative intensity.

With the striking tagline “A Blood Fest,” Bhogi presents Sharwanand in a never-before-seen avatar—rugged, intense, and deeply immersed in a gritty cinematic world. His transformation has already become a major talking point among fans and trade circles.

Set against the backdrop of the North Telangana–Maharashtra border during the late 1960s, director Sampath Nandi is aiming to deliver a rooted, hard-hitting story that blends realism with powerful drama.

The film stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, alongside a strong supporting cast.

On the technical front, the film boasts an experienced crew, with production design by Kiran Kumar Manne, cinematography by Kishore Kumar Arokia, and music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Positioned as a full-scale pan-India entertainer, Bhogi is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on August 28, 2026, coinciding with the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan. With its scale, setting, and action-packed narrative, the film is shaping up to be a major cinematic event.
