Jana Sena activists from Nannuru in Gannavaram have derived inspiration from Suriya-starrer 'Jai Bhim' to help out the underprivileged sections of the village. In a video clip, Jana Sena's local activists have explained what they have done.
"It has been decades since we got Independence. But their lives have not changed for the better here for the poor. Jana Sena activists have worked towards ensuring that they get identity cards that they can use to access welfare benefits. There are people with no ration card or Aadhar card till today. Welfare benefits are not reaching them on time," the activists said.
"For decades, they have lived in wretched conditions. No leader or representative went to them and learned about their problems. The efforts of Lanka Suresh, Guntapallli Harsha, Pasupaleti Suresh and Yadamshetty Gopichand," the activists added.
'Jai Bhim', starring also Prakash Raj and Rao Ramesh, has been streaming on Amazon Prime Video since November 2. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film is produced by Suriya and Jyothika. It is a critically acclaimed feature.
