Jagityala suicides: 'RX 100' actor hits back at critics

Recently, it was found by the Jagityala police that two 16-year-old boys had committed suicide because they were inspired by the movie 'RX 100' to do so. The victims were in love with two different girls.
Following so much outrage against the movie, actor Kartikeya has hit back at the critics. "It has come to my notice that a song in my movie has encouraged the two boys to commit suicide. Let me say that my character doesn't commit suicide in the movie. In fact, the much-reviled song has actually been played widely on happy occasions. It's wrong to blame artists and technicians for what happens in the society. No filmmaker encourages violence or death," the actor said.
He added that children should be guided to think positively instead of throwing unfounded criticism against filmmakers. "Children who belong to an impressionable age need the guidance of adults," Kartikeya remarked.
