Notably, Jagan used to refer to Pawan Kalyan as "Datta Putrudu" but addressed him as "Pawan Kalyan garu" for the first time, offering his congratulations to Chandrababu Naidu garu, Pawan Kalyan garu, and the BJP for their significant victory.

Jagan also stated that being in the opposition is not new for him, having spent most of his political career in opposition, except for the past five years.
