Focussing on grassroot level football – Kathir’s ‘Jada’ trailer review

The trailer of ‘Jada’ has been released by Vijay Sethupathi and the visuals suggest a strong focus on grassroots level football and the politics behind the game that affect the downtrodden mostly.  In recent times many sports-based films have hit the screens including the megabucks ‘Bigil’ starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Atlee.  This one seems to be leaning more towards reality than the fantasy.

Kathir is seen as a footballer in ‘Jada’ once again but whilst he was consigned to the wheelchair in ‘Bigil’ here he seems to hold the film on his shoulders.  Yogi Babu is there to take care of the comedy element while Roshini is the love interest.  The film is directed by Kumaran with Sam CS providing the music. A.R. Soorya cranking the camera and Richard Kevin doing the cuts.  The film is releasing on December 6th distributed by Y Not X.
