Tamil cinema music had a revolution after our prestigious Ilayaraja entered the scene. He has produced a countless number of songs for more than 1000 films over the years. He made the whole world lend ears for the music of Tamil Cinema. He ruled Tamil film music for decades.

A.R. Rahman came to K-town in the 90s and emerged as the successor of Ilayaraja. Tamil Cinema further evolved to the modern music style in the era of ARR. Before ARR became a composer, he worked as an assistant in Ilayaraja's studio.

While both of the musical legends share a great bond of friendship, the media and fans considered them as rivals. But they prove us wrong often with the beautiful moments they share in the musical concerts like “Ilayaraja 75”.

Yesterday, Isai Puyal has shared an interview of our Isai Gnani, where he talked about how a song should be. Ilayaraja has stated, "A song should be like a flower that blossomed moments ago. In reality, a flower will dry out in a day but a good song will be a fresh blossom even if it was heard after 20 years or 40 years".

The Mozart of Madras shared this interview of Ilayaraja and captioned, "How a song should be...? Ilayaraja". Both the fans of Raja and Rahman are so glad about ARR's tweet. This is another beautiful moment that proves to us the legends share a great bond of friendship.
