Last year, reports broke out that Atlee will be directing Thalapathy 68 under Sun Pictures. According to sources, Thalapathy Vijay's association with Super Good Films for their 100th movie is confirmed and Atlee is not going to direct this project. This film marks the seventh collaboration between Vijay and Super Good Films. The latest information from our sources is that Gopichand or popular Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj will be directing Thalapathy 68.

However, there is no official word about this project and we have to wait for it. It is worth mentioning that Thalapathy Vijay and Super Good Films have delivered timeless hits in Tamil cinema such as 'Thullatha Manamum Thullum', 'Love Today', 'Poove Unakkaga', 'Thirupachi', 'Shahjahan' and 'Jilla'.
