Director Atlee started his Bollywood venture, 'Jawan', after delivering consecutive blockbusters in Tamil cinema. The film starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara is in the final stages of production now. Rockstar Anirudh is composing music for the magnum opus.

Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the mega-actioner was initially announced to have a grand release on June 2, 2023. A few days ago, reports broke out that Jawan might get postponed from its scheduled release date to October. Now, sources tell us that Jawan is on track for a theatrical release on June 2, the announced date.

Reportedly, the makers are now shooting the final schedule. It is a massive chase sequence set in a jungle. The entire filming will be wrapped up within two weeks and the post-production works are going on parallelly. Also, the Jawan teaser might make its debut in the third week of April.

Jawan stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu and others with powerful cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt. SRK is said to be playing dual roles in the film, which has several Kollywood's big names such as Richard M Nathan and Ruben serving as cinematographer and editor respectively.
