Is ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ releasing on OTT? Find out here

‘Good Luck Sakhi’, starring Keerthy Suresh and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, has been in the news over the rumour that it is heading for a direct-to-streamer release on ZEE5. Is there an element of truth in the rumour? Turns out that the news is false.

As per producer Sudhir Chandra Padhiri, the sports romantic-comedy is not heading for an OTT release. “We request the media to kindly refrain from spreading the false rumour. Our production house will come out with an update if there are any plans to release the movie on OTT,” the official word says.

Since the film is presented by Dil Raju, it seems the makers are not in a tight spot. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, the much-delayed movie has the ‘Miss India’ actress as an unlucky person who takes to rifle shooting. ‘Rangasthalam’ actor Aadhi Pinisetty is Goli Raju, a stage artiste. Rahul Ramakrishna is seen sporting a long beard and hair in its teaser, which was unveiled in August 2020.

With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has cinematography and editing by Chirantan Das and A Sreekar Prasad, respectively.
