Is Akhil’s second film going to be with Vikram Kumar?

After much brainstorming, cogitation and doing an analysis of pros and cons of various options, Akkineni Akhil decided to have Hanu Raghavapudi as his second film's director.  He only recently made it known to the world that the pre-production work is almost done and that he is elated about starting the shoot soon.

At this point of time, what if we said Akhil could prefer Vikram Kumar to Hanu Raghavapudi?  Yes, it's going to happen, almost for sure.  Film Nagar grapevine has it that Akhil may cancel Hanu's film to have the Manam and 24 maker wield the megaphone.

The reason is learnt to be that while Hanu is committed to one producer, Akhil is committed to another.  Due to this, they are not in a position to reconcile their commitments.

We learn that Vikram Kumar recently went into a huddle with Akhil to discuss a film idea.

It was Vikram who directed Akhil's first shot.  That was for Manam.  Vikram's last two films have only heightened his stature in the industry.  On the other hand, Hanu is just two films old and, on the brighter side, his second one was a BO hit.  On the flip side, Hanu is not as big as Vikram.
