Indian and CSK pacer Deepak Chahar got married to his fiancée Jaya Bhardwaj in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday. Pictures from the wedding have been shared by the couple on their respective social media handles.

Alongside a gorgeous snap from the ceremony he posted on his Instagram page, Deepak Chahar wrote, “When I met you first time I felt that you are the one and I was right. We have enjoyed every moment of our life together and I promise you to keep you always happy like this. One of the best moment of my life.” Meanwhile, Jaya wrote, “He stole my Heart so I stole his Last name.” Deepak got engaged to Jaya in October last year following CSK’s final league stage game against Punjab Kings in IPL 2021. The cricketer went down on his knee and proposed to her at the stands, and the video of the same went viral across social media.

Deepak Chahar posted the clip himself and wrote, “Special and one of the best moments of my life.” In another tweet, he had mentioned, “Special thanks to @bcci and @IPL and @JayShah sir for making this day happen for me. Thank you so much.” Jaya, who works for a corporate firm in Delhi, had apparently been dating Deepak for a long time and accompanied him to the UAE for the second session of IPL 2021 last year.
