Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar is one of the most ambitious films under production in the country. The long in the making epic is now in non stop shooting mode with the team currently working day and night on grand sets at the Aditya Ram Studios in Chennai.
The news has broken out that Anirudh has already started the musical composition for 'Indian 2' and director Shankar requested him to use a few tracks from the original 'Indian' released in 1996. it is well known that Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman scored the music for that film and hence it is said that Shankar and Anirudh contacted him and asked permission. Sources say that the Oscar winning music maestro who is close to both of them agreed immediately.
