Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is celebrating his 64th birthday today and as a birthday treat Lyca Productions has released the first glimpse of the upcoming 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar. The clip is actually from the final shot of 'Indian' released in 1996 where Kamal Haasan's old character Senapathy believed to be dead appears in a foreign country. He is in a phone booth making a call warning that he will be back if corruption rears its head again in Tamil Nadu.
'Indian 2' shooting is set to start in December with Anirudh as the music director, Ravi Varman as cinematographer and T. Muthuraj as the production designer. Talks are also said to be on with Nayanthara to play the female lead.
Happy Birthday to the one and only #Ulganayagan , Dear @ikamalhaasan Sir. Wishing you a fantastic day & year ahead. #INDIAN2 #SenapatiIsBack ?????? pic.twitter.com/cghE9uFOhL
