Exclusive! Is ‘Indian 2’ dropped? – Official clarification from Lyca

Right from the past weekend rumours have been floating around in Kollywood that Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus ‘Indian 2’ directed by Shankar is likely to be dropped.  According to those reports it was stated that Lyca Productions refused to spend the budget that Shankar wanted.

We got in touch with the official spokesperson of Lyca Productions and we got the info that the rumours are false and baseless.  So far a major sequence has been shot for a week at a memorial hall near the GH in Chennai.  Another portion has been completed at the Gokulam Studios as well.  Right now set work is going on in different locations and after a brief break the shoot will resume and will go on continuously after that.

‘Indian 2’ has music by Anirudh, cinematography by Ravi Varman and Production Design by T. Muthuraj.  Kajal Agarwal, Arya, Siddharth and a few more big stars are sharing screen space with Kamal Haasan.
