BREAKING! Earthquake felt in parts of India

Just a few minutes ago, strong earthquake tremors were felt in several parts of North India, including the national capital New Delhi and a few other adjoining places.

The earthquake reportedly originated in Afghanistan at 5.09 pm. The 6.8 magnitude tremors rocked the Hindukush mountains, which was also felt in parts of Pakistan. In the videos being circulated on social media from Delhi, ceiling fans and chandeliers are seen swinging fiercely. This apparently led to people in those neighborhoods run outside their houses and workplaces.

Tremors were reportedly felt in Gurgaon and Noida and Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur as well. There have been no immediate reports of loss of life or property. More details are awaited.
