Another case against Superstar Rajinikanth withdrawn

Superstar Rajinikanth has taken a break from the shooting of ‘Thalaivar 168’ directed by Siruthai Siva to take part in a two-day shoot for Man vs Wild hosted by Bear Grylls in the Bandipur wildlife sanctuary in Karnataka.  Only a few days back a case filed by Dravida Viduthalai Kazhagam against Rajinikanth’s speech in the Periyaar issue was withdrawn by its leader

Today one more case against Rajinikanth was withdrawn by the Income Tax department who had levied a fine of rupees 66.6 Lakhs for not paying tax from 2002 to 2005.  The Income Tax Tribunal had cancelled the fine and the IT department went for an appeal.  The case was withdrawn since the fine amount is less than one crore.
