Popular actress, television personality and director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has reacted to a controversy regarding Isaigniani Ilayaraja. Recently she shared a photograph in which she is seen seated on the floor in the music maestro's studio while he is seated in a chair and composing with his harmonium.

She had captioned the pic "I have much to share about the few hours of experience we had with #Legend Raja sir". Controversy erupted as a few social media users who were not aware of how traditionally music composers and directors work trolled the legend. One particular user commented "Why were you sitting on the floor? Is Mr. Raja that poor who does not have money to buy chairs for the guests visiting his place? So sad to know of it. Mr. Raja demands respect wherever he goes. Let him give the same to others for equality."

Lakshmy reacted to the troll replying "Creator of his caliber, a senior person, #Raja sir is equal to God, I consider it a blessing to be able to sit under his feet. Would be happy to do the same every time I go to his place . And sitting in the floor is good for health my friend, Happy 76th day of independence".

Lakshmy Ramakrishnan is currently directing a new movie that stars Samuthirakani and Abhirami in the lead roles with Myssin and Robo Shankar in important characters. Ilayaraja is scoring the music for this as yet untitled project.
