For the rest of the world, Raashi Khanna is the Bellam Sridevi of the moment. As for herself, she is that same shy girl who sheds inhibitions in front of the camera. Ask her how she overcame her shyness to do comedy and more in the film Supreme, pat comes the reply, "I am still shy. I haven't overcome my shyness," she tells IndiaGlitz. For a person who is so shy, wanting to be in politics is counter-intuitive. But this is exactly what Raashi thinks she might eventually do one day.
"I never wanted to be an actor. I thought of becoming an IAS officer. I don't want to earn any medal as Bellam Sridevi wants to in Supreme (laughs), but I want to do good. I think for actors, there is always a place where they might eventually join politics. It's not that difficult. So, you never know, I might be a politician one day," Raashi Khanna tells IndiaGlitz. Saying that she can't comment on the state of politics, Raashi opines that actresses like Roja and Namitha entering politics is a great thing because politics helps them do good to people.
Well, from playing a girl-next-door in Oohalu Gusagusalade to being a bubbly girl in later films to being a light-veined cop in Supreme, Raashi is doing it all. May be, playing a politician in a movie is something in her mind!
