At a time when he is being slammed for being a casteist, Pawan Kalyan has hit back at his political critics during the ongoing Jana Sena Porata Yatra in Uttarandhra.
“Do they (TDP leaders) have any shame? How can they say that I am a casteist. Had I been one, how come I supported them in 2014? If caste matters to me, how come my two children are being brought up in two different religions?” Power Star thundered the other day.
Pawan was vociferous in questioning Chandrababu Naidu. “It’s disgusting to see people in responsible positions issue statements that I work only for my caste. If you could become a Chief Minister, it’s because our Jana Sainiks from all castes, religions and regions stood by you. You may not be aware of it, but your own Warangal party leader came to me and urged me to support him in elections, without which, he said, youngsters won’t vote for him,” Pawan said forcefully.
