Acclaimed director Ram to team up with this comedy superstar for his new film? – Buzz

Ram is a highly acclaimed director, best known for his unconventional and gut wrenching filmmaking. He set off a new wave in Tamil cinema with his works – Katradhu Thamizh, Taramani, Thanga Meengal and Peranbu. Currently, Ram is working on the film titled ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’.

Now, a recent report claims that director Ram has locked his next movie with popular comedy hero Shiva, whom the fans fondly call ‘Agila Ulaga Superstar’. The two are said to be teaming up for a comedy film and the shoot is most likely to begin in February 2023. Fans are surprised to hear about such a combo as both their styles are completely different.

Notably, Ram has expressed his wish to direct a pure comedy film in his earlier interviews. It seems like that the filmmaker has finally decided to make one in his favourite genre. On the film front, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai stars Nivin Pauly, Soori and Anjali in the lead roles. Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, the film is set to hit the screens soon.
