Honoured about my acting debut: Rahul Sipligunj

Playback singer Rahul Sipligunj, who recently won the Bigg Boss title by trumping difficult candidates such as Sree Mukhi, has been signed up for a role in ‘Ranga Maarthaanda’.  The drama stars Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishna in key roles.  Directed by Krishna Vamsi, it went on the floors recently.

Talking about bagging the film, Rahul said, “I feel very honoured to be a part of this amazing movie with an impeccable cast, A big thanks to Krishna Vamsi garu. I feel very lucky and super excited for the shoot. My debut as an actor, I need all your blessings chichas!”

The likes of Kaushal Manda haven’t been seen around in movies despite the high-profile Bigg Boss victory.  Rahul, on the other hand, is wearing a new cap as an actor.
