Narendra Modi has penned a letter to the citizens of India. Published on Saturday (marking the 1st anniversary of Modi 2.0), the letter highlights some of the key achievements of the second term of the Modi government.
The letter, saying that India has to become self-reliant, adds that we have to work based on our abilities. It highlights the recent Rs 20 lakh crore package to make India resilient.
Modi says that the “decision on Article 370 furthered the spirit of national unity and integration”. The unanimous Supreme Court judgement on Ram Mandir also gets a mention.
The Prime Minister also highlights the steps taken by the Centre for the welfare of farmers.
At a time when migrant workers are suffering because of the lockdown, Modi says that they are going through tremendous hardships. “Our labourers, migrant workers, artisans and craftsmen in small scale industries, hawkers and such fellow countrymen have undergone tremendous suffering,” Modi writes.
