'Hatya' ('Kolai' in Tamil) stars Vijay Antony as an investigator who has to identify and trace the murderer of a celebrity model named Leila (Meenakshi Chaudhary). Written and directed by Balaji K Kumar and produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures, the film co-stars Ritika Singh, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddhartha Shankar, Kishore Kumar, John Vijay, Arjun Chidambaram and Samkit Bohra.

The news is that a song titled 'Neeti Budage' from the movie is out. Sung soulfully by Sid Sriram, the melody is written by Bhagyasree. Composed, arranged and produced by Girishh Gopalakrishnan, its backing vocals are from Sai Krishna Kumar, Samarth Srinivasan.
