The first day share of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, as said differently by different stakeholders, suggests that the film may have crossed that of Rajamouli's magnum opus, Baahubali. According to its director Bobby, the first day share in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined is Rs. 21 cr. Other estimates are putting this at Rs. 21. 75 cr. The breakdown for the second estimate goes like this: Nizam- 5.85 Cr, Ceded- 4.10 Cr, Nellore- 85 lacs, Guntur- 2.46 Cr, Krishna- 1.51 Cr, West- 2.70 Cr, East- 2.27 Cr, Uttarandhra- 2.01 Cr. On the other hand, Baahubali had collected Rs. 21. 69 cr in all these areas combined on day one.
Thus, this makes Sardaar's share a bit higher than Baahubali's – by Rs. 6 lacs.
On the other hand, in rest of India, SGS collected a share of Rs. 3 cr. In Overseas market, it collected a whopping Rs. 5 cr.
