Has Keerthy Suresh replaced Kajal Aggarwal in Teja’s next?

Post Sita and Ranaragam, Kajal Aggarwal hasn’t been seen in any Telugu film, nor she spoke about being part of any. The actress became pretty much busy in Tamil film industry with Comali, and has Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 in her kitty, besides Mosagallu, a crossover film.

Sources report that Kajal was approached by director Teja once again, to play the leading lady in one of his next flicks, which is titled Alimelumanga Venkataramana. In this film, Gopichand is said to be playing the lead actor and Kajal to pair up with him.

But with the remuneration Kajal has quoted, the makers have decided to go for a second option and that is when they have approached Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh. As per the reports, the actress has given her nod, and is yet to sign the dotted line.

An official confirmation on the same, from the makers is awaited. Teja is known for making some amazing entertainers. But unfortunately, Sita has tanked at the box office, leaving an impact on the director, and the lead actress.

Keerthy has Miss India and Good Luck Sakhi in her kitty and these films are directed by Narendranath and Nagesh Kukunoor, respectively. Also, she is busy shooting for Venky Atluri’s Rang De, for which she has teamed up with Nithiin for the very first time.
